Signature Edition

I Just got my Athena in black @ 9mm as the Signature Edition. This bespoke piece is beautiful and the craftsmanship is out of this world. This is a steal at this price and I could not be happier. If you have played Kori's picks with optics, you really owe it to yourself to try out one with the metal inserts. The feel changes and there is an added degree of "grip". I can already tell this is going to be my go-to pick for a while!

So good, I needed another!

The previous Athena I ordered was so amazingly perfect, I had to give it to the person I love the most. Knowing the absence I would have in my bevy of Purple Plectrums, I ordered the same model and dimensions, but this time in green. It is now more perfect than perfect. The look, feel and tone are without equal and I have not stopped playing it since it arrived! Kori can customize anything you see here in his shop, so don't be afraid to ask. He will offer his thoughts and then will deliver promptly with his white glove service. I can hardly wait for the next sonic adventure that I will ask his assistance with. Thank you again, Kori!

Another perfect Purple Plectrum experience!

I just received this marvel in white with a single blue optic. The classy looks are matched by its perfect size and incredible tone. I have many Purple Plectrums and each one has its charms. The Athena, like most of my others, is made from UHMW-PE, so the feeling is both familiar and beyond comfortable. The size is larger than a Rugge, but smaller than a Shield. It has a unique voice and the tones are pleasing across jazz, blues, etc. The thickness is spot on (6mm) which allows your hand to relax while keeping the pick in place - I have never dropped a Purple Plectrum when playing and I don’t expect that to change with this model either. Oh, and as usual, this pick produces no chirp when it hits the strings. If you are on the fence about trying one of these fine plectra, or you are like me and looking to one day try each one of Kori’s exquisite creations, give the Athena a try. You will not regret it!
