Shield Plectrum

I broke my wrist in September which required surgery and 12 weeks of therapy. I went from playing at 160bpm to 190bpm in one night of using the handmade shield.

When I say this pick changed the way I play guitar, I mean that it makes me feel like my playing sounds the way it should. The craftsmanship and love put into these picks are evident the moment you receive them. I could never see myself playing, let alone leave the house, without one. I believe that these picks are the closest we will get to playing the great "Pick of Destiny".

My compliments to the craftsman, you have made one hell of a pick.

I needed a pick for my bass with more control over lighter picking, I ordered in 9mm and I have no regrets.

You can't eliminate pick noise, but the size and shape of this one make it work with you instead of against; It's flatter edge does most of the work, where my Scallon slides straight off the Shield only lets go when I want it to, allowing for more of a resting stroke (how finger style works) than a striking action typical picks make.

TL;DR, Great for softer play on Bass, for heavier and faster, go Scallon(!).

PS, Pick noise is great when it does what you want it to.
