PEEK Plectrums
PEEK Plectrums
This Item usually has a longer production or wait time than other models. Usually around 3 weeks.
Step into the heart of darkness. Introducing for a limited time, few of our popular models available in sleek, black PEEK, the holy grail of exotic polymers. What is PEEK you ask? Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is an organic thermoplastic polymer, used in space age, out of this world industrial applications. What does that mean for you? It means a pick that looks absolutely stunning, very dense (but still light) that will glide over your strings unlike any pick you have ever used before. You can specify thickness between 2-9mm for any of the available models.
Brushed finish for grip with polished tip and sides. You can specify sharp or rounded bevel and tip. Please specify your choices in the note section of your checkout otherwise default finish is my choice. Rock on…

Great plectrum!
Got another peek pick 6mm Apollo with a brass insert. It is now my fav pick. I will likely order another one just in case Kori stops making them.
After spending considerable time with the PEEK Ares (7mm) I rarely reach for a different plectrum. I have a wide variety of picks, many mundane and many more expensive than this. There's absolutely no doubt for me that this one is at the top of my list in terms of overall performance.
Were there any one aspect I would caution, it is that the form and material make for a superbly low friction plectrum. It's so much so that it is easy to slip a little too much across the strings depending on the application.
Personally I can't get enough of the glide, ease of dynamic playing, and bright tone. It's simply worth having at all times.
I ordered PEEK Aries 9mm and a 6mm blackmoore for my foray into overpriced picks only out of pure curiosity. Did I think I was making a wise investment NO, I got money wrf let's blow some.
Blackmoore was not bad, was it worth 35 bucks NO... was it a good pick Yes. Would it last forever yes.
PEEK Aries amazing, it is an experience playing with PEEK. Was it worth 70 bucks absofuckenlootly. I keep trying to go to other picks and I just can't, every thing feels like trash after playing with this for any amount of time.
The way it strikes the strings only makes you want to play more. It is so Smooth and precise. I finally came to the conclusion that PEEK was what I wanted. Kori made the pick I loved so I reached out and asked a bunch of questions and Kori helped me find a pick I dreamed of. I am now awaiting the Dark Lord to arrive!
I will post a review of darkness when precious arrives.
Seriously Kori makes s great picks and I like PEEK however every material has its own sound quality. If your looking to brighten or darken your sound Kori can point you in the right direction.
I ordered an 8mm Apollo. I was of course very excited and sat down to play as soon as I opened it. After a 2 hour writing session it is safe to say this pick exceeded my expectations by miles. It did take me a while to get used to but towards the end I was absolutely thrilled by the minimal effort it required to glide through my riffs. This was my first Purple but it will not be the last. I look forward to expanding the collection of these magnificent picks! Great work.
