MidTech Aias (formerly XLS)

This one is actually too big - chirps on the strings probably due to the size, but has some weight to it as well that gets heavy after some time and defeats the purpose of the pick fitting in your hand better I feel- but just my opinion- The Zeus was the perfect size for a bigger pick, but the pointed tip on this one IS the upside to it. Purple Plectrums are still killer !!

This pick feels great! Your hand will thank you. It gives you a different approach on the guitar for sure. I will be getting more. I purchased the 12mm.

I work as a masseur, so ergonomics play a big role in my daily work. I personally never liked conventional picks, since they do tend to create a number of issues in long-term use.

I have a medium sized hand and 25mm XLS is still very usable, 16mm ZEUS seems quite optimal for me.

This pick is so big, that you can actually play sideways with it, which opens up a different kind of pick hold.

Only con for me is the pick chirps, which become noisier, the bigger the pick gets. Small price to pay for well-being in my opinion.

Customer service is spot on.

The size of the XLS helps the hand relax without losing responsiveness. It's extremely comfortable to use, and after an adjustment period, feels much better than conventionally sized picks. Honestly, there's no going back for me, it simply feels too good in my hand. I would highly recommend purchasing one; I most certainly will again, if I ever wish to try another design.

Merchant responds to messages extremely quickly, usually within a few hours. Seller response is excellent. If requested, minor customizations may be accommodated. My midtech XLS is in 9mm, which is only a listed option for the handmade series XLS. Do note that I can only speak for my own experience, and yours may vary.

Excepting turnaround time, shipping/delivery was good and fast.

I just got my XLS in blue @ 12mm. I am pleasantly surprised to say that despite the larger size, it sits perfect in your hand! It really allows your hand to relax and for the pick to do the work. As with most of Kori’s beautiful picks, this is made of UHMW-PE and is finished so it feels like velvet. Do not be put off by the dimensions, you owe it to yourself to try of one of these giants. I can hardly wait to begin composing with it!
